New journals in SCOPUS

With the growing interest towards the Ottoman and Turkish studies, more journals are being specially devoted to this field.
Recently another 13 Brill journal were accepted for inclusion in SCOPUS, the world’s largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. Among them are several journals, which publish scientific articles on all aspects of MENA region:

   Turkish Review,          Journal of Islamic Manuscripts,         Oriente Moderno,                       Oriens.

On this occasion Professor Richard Whatmore (University of St Andrews), Scopus Subject Chair for Humanities, said:

“I just wanted to say congratulations on publishing such a remarkable set of journals – you are clearly doing a fantastic job […] If all journals were like these we would not have to have a review process at all.”
